I got a Sony Ericsson W850i for my birthday in September last year and a few months later, I notcied it developed a small hair line crack on the navagational pad. I looked on the internet for help and it is a very common thing apparently. I sent it away (it came back a month later – business was very slow) and I noticed they had replaced the whole casing. Phew! I am very careful with my phone, I have a protector case and it has no scratches as yet. A few months later it came back! In the same place but worse! I rang up Sony Ericsson and they said they sent me an email but never did. I have not sent it back yet but it is such an annoying problem. I paid enough money for it so it should work! Anyone got the same problem?

im an existing tmobile user. a cuple of days ago, i had the option to upgrde my phone at walmart for 100$ and i had the sidekick 2008 or the blackbery curve to choose from.not knowing mch about either device and w/ the fact i had 2 weeks to change my mind on the devic i choose, i picked the sidekick 08. i was a blackberry pearl user and i loved the quality of it and how well it was made. i went w/ te siekick bec of its hi resolution screen and the changeable faceplates and the size of the keyboard. i got on the phone w/ cutomer care and they said either device i choose will be limited bec of the lack of the data plan. w/ my pearl i liked it so much that the lack of the data plan didnt bother me, althou having messnger wouldve been nice. thats the only reason id get the data plan, since i wouldnt use it to email or anything to advanced. so if u were to pick one of the two, knowing u dont have the funds to pay for data every month, which would u pick and why? sorry bout the long question.

I am a remote employee for a large IT company, and I have a company-supplied cell phone that I use to keep in touch with the office for calls, voice mail, and IM. I absolutely hate my current handheld (HTC TouchPro2) and I avoid using it because it is such a pain. The touchscreen interface doesn’t work well in general, and most things are so small I have to use the stylus to accurately interface with the device. Not to mention the idiotic limitations of the OS Verizon loaded on the phone that prevents me from doing some basic stuff like checking my local weather. So, I avoid using it as much as possible, enough that I’ll postpone replying to an email until I can get to my company laptop which is connected to the server. I can limp along like this for another 1.5 years, but I would prefer to have a device that I like to use. How can I convince my boss that there is a business reason to spend the money for a different handheld? The cost is going to be 0 USD – not a huge amount for a big IT company, but still we don’t spend money unless there is good justification. Had I known that it could be exchanged during the first 30 days for no fee, I would have pursued it then. But I was a new employee and that policy was either not brought to my attention, or I missed noticing it, until about 8 months into dealing with this piece of s**t, when I finally complained. My director said to ask my VP, so I have to come up with convincing case, and I’m hoping you all can help me. Thanks!

a short review on the Martin Fields Overlay Plus Screen Protector – Nokia N900 Easy installation and high quality makes this a good buy! It is in the same price range as the Zagg’s shield but the material used is different, its not rubbery and there is no orange peel effect! It actually feels and looks as if there is no screen protector! I was looking for something like this for a while.
